Thanksgiving is Upon Us and We are Entering a Code Freeze

It's been a month since our last update but we have not been resting easy.  Our development team has been hard at work, mostly addressing bug fixes (a never-ending job), but we also have some great new features and improvements, so keep on reading.

Can you believe it's already Thanksgiving?  Our support staff will all be around this coming Black Friday as well as Cyber Monday.  We will of course have coverage of the busy weekend as well.  I will take this moment to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving, and we are thankful to all of our customers and hope you have an incredibly busy weekend!

announcement In just over a year, we have processed over 1 MILLION transactions on our coreCLEAR credit card Terminals.  That is a massive achievement, and we thank all of our customers for helping us achieve this milestone!

announcement Time for a Code Freeze

Simply put, a code freeze is a period of time in which developers stop releasing any changes. The site's code is truly “frozen” at that point in time, most often to prevent any issues during a busy time of the year (i.e. the holiday season). During this time we will keep coding, and any critical bug fixes will be addressed and released, but no new features or enhancements will be released till after the holiday season (beginning of January).

new feature Restrict Sales By IP Address

Similar to restricting the ability to clock in/clock out to your location, you can now also restrict sales transactions from being entered outside of your establishment.  You can also specify which employees are exempt from this policy.   To enable this option, go to Company->Locations, and you will see the checkbox to restrict sales.   To mark an employee

To mark an employee as exempt from these restrictions simply edit their employee record and check the box that exempts them.

new feature Recurring Charges for Memberships and more

If you are a coreCLEAR customer, you can set up recurring charges in coreSTORE.  These can be used for selling memberships, subscriptions, or other recurring charges.  If you are interested in using this feature, please submit a support request, and we will turn this feature on.   Keep in mind, at this point you can only sell recurring charge items at the register, they cannot be sold online.  If you are a coreFIRE customer, we plan on adding support for this in the near-ish future (after the holidays).

new feature coreILLA Workflows exciting!

Are you using coreILLA?  If not, you should be because it offers an entire marketing platform for your store, and we keep enhancing the integration between coreSTORE and coreILLA.  You can now choose what workflow to assign to a customer when they purchase an item.   You can assign the workflow either on a category level or an individual item level.  Learn more about coreILLA by visiting www.coreilla.com.

new feature Quick Fulfillment

Quickly cycle through multiple orders and fulfill them by entering what is being shipped, shipping dimensions, and weight, print the label, go to the next order, and repeat.  All is done directly from the fulfillment screen without having to enter into each order.  Simply select multiple orders at once and click the Fulfill button at the top of the screen.  You can blaze through your orders.  We will definitely release a video on this feature soon.

new feature Reason Codes

Ok, so it's not so new, but we don't recall announcing this feature.  So hopefully, this is a good one.   Imagine you want to force a reason to be entered any time a price is changed on an item during the sale or a discount is applied.   This can easily be done by simply going to the Company Settings and clicking on the Rason Codes section.   You can specify when to prompt for a reason and also add any number of reason codes.

new feature Update Cost from Receiving

If you are not set to use Average Costing, you can now toggle an option to update the cost of an item when you update the cost on the purchase receiving screen.

new feature Gun Spot Orders

Orders from www.gunspot.com will now be imported into coreSTORE.

new feature Add multiple items to be repaired on a single work order exciting!

You can now add multiple items to be repaired on a work order.

improvement Apply fees/taxes to subcategories

You can now apply special fees to the subcategories.

improvement Enhanced Item Information when Receiving Items

When receiving an item when you click the item name we have enhanced the information that is displayed.  In the receiving tab we added the PO# and Cost.

In the sales tab we now show historical sales by month.  This will help you determine how many to order.

improvement Reason an item is banned

We now clearly show if an item is banned from selling at a specific location.  Since item bans can be setup based on an item tag, category or individual item, having this tooltip is helpful to diagnose why an item can't be sold at a specific location.

improvement Multiple Price Rules for the Same Item

If multiple price rules apply to a line item in the sale, then the system will now choose the best price rather than defaulting to the first price rule that it finds.

improvement Enhanced BOGO (Buy One Get One) Support

You can now specify which items, item kits, categories, or tags qualify for a BOGO to be applied.  You can also specify what items, item kits, categories or tags are the reward for the BOGO.  A video on price rules will be coming soon!

improvement Custom Sales Report Enhancements

Fields are not listed in alphabetical order, and we have added the ability to produce a report that only shows serialized items or only shows non-serialized items.

improvement Edit Sale Restriction

When editing a sale, you can no longer add or remove line items.  This is important because having that ability was causing other problems.  We recommend entering a return and a new sale transaction if items need to be added or removed from a completed sale transaction.

improvement Payment Fees Enhancement

Payment Fees that are set up in coreSTORE will now also apply to online payments that are being made using the coreSTORE payment portal.  The coreSTORE payment portal is available for all of our coreCLEAR customers, it allows your customers to make payments on orders, layaways, and invoices online.

new feature Manage 3310 Alerts Screen exciting!

We added a screen that will allow you see all the 3310 alerts including the ones that were dismissed (deleted, but they are not really deleted).

improvement Updated NICS Plug-In - important

If you are using our NICS Plug-In, PLEASE make sure to install the latest version of the extension.  Follow the directions in this article:

https://help.coreware.com/support/solutions/articles/73000566377-how-to-install-and-use-the-nics-check-extension-on-google-chrome-or-microsoft-edge

We have corrected several issues and made some minor enhancements.

improvement Expired NICS Verification

When attempting to access Section D, the system will now verify that the NICS check was done within 30 days.  If the date is older than 30 days, access to Section D will be prevented and a message is displayed:

"Your NICS verification has expired. Please fill out a new Form 4473"

The 4473 will then be invalidated.

improvement Moving Bound Book Records

You can now move deleted bound book records to another book.

Miss us? - Come Catch Up on Exciting coreFORCE Updates!

To many, it might not mean much.

To us, it means more than you know.

Thank you for your service.

coreFORCE new features exciting!

announcement

Okay, we know we've been a bit MIA on the coreFORCE updates; MIA, but not AWOL. Our team has been hard at work the last few months to bring you HUGE system performance improvements, feature requests, and all sorts of other goodies (just in time for Halloween 🎃 and the holiday season).

To begin, I think it is worth mentioning that while we were experiencing some server issues a few weeks ago, we dug down and used this as an opportunity to do some key enhancements to improve things such as backend maintenance speeds, overall system stability, and laying the groundwork for future exciting updates. We are confident that we came out of the other side of this stronger and more resilient than ever.

THANK YOU!

We cannot express how much we appreciate every single one of you. We know that our success is completely dependent on YOUR success and we sincerely want you to succeed and use our software to help you crush your goals.

To help you with these goals, it is important that we update you on some of the things we've been doing so you have as many tools to succeed as possible. After all, it's difficult to use tools 🔨  when you don't even know they exist!

Soooo What's New? new features

👀

 📢  MAP UPDATES 📢

important announcement

As a data aggregator, and not a distributor, we have decided to primarily update MAP prices from distributors that we trust in a ranked order. As we have reviewed MAP, we have determined that MAP prices are a mess because of dirty data from only a few of the distributors.

After some careful investigation by our team, we have determined which distributors appear to be the best and most consistent sources of keeping MAP up to date. These distributors will have precedence over others where there are conflicts. We will still use MAP pricing from a distributor if the distributor is the only one to carry that product.

A major caveat of this, is that we will be much more reliant on distributors to fix MAP prices when the prices are incorrect. However, Manufacturer MAP uploads and Client changes to MAP now "stick" for 6 months before being overwritten by distributor MAP prices. This should give the distributors time to properly update those. Formerly, updates to MAP were relatively permanent until they were updated again.

As a dealer, you are ultimately responsible for staying up to date on all MAP policies. There are things you can do to work around the MAP price being wrong, thereby preventing yourself from being placed on a do not sell list. Some options include setting different MAP policies in the manufacturer record, setting a minimum sale price on the products in question, or marking the manufacturer record as "Cannot Sell" (hides the product and removes the product from the site map until the corrections have been made).

If you have any questions, please feel free to submit a ticket at help.coreware.com.

exciting! new feature Add Multiple of the Same Product with DIFFERENT addons!

This is an exciting release that has been requested by several of our dealers!

When orders come in for the same product with different addons, these will be split up as different line items in the orders dashboard with the addons listed directly below the item description.

Note that enabling this feature WILL require changes by Coreware staff to your template. If this is a feature you would like to enable, please let us know with a ticket at help.coreware.com.

improvement Reordering products (Buy Now from customer's Order History Page) now works with all Product Addons.

improvement Extra Data Added to Orders Income Report:

Example Demo Store Test Data

new feature FFL's can now receive a separate email (instead of a copy of the confirmation email) when orders are placed to be picked up at their store

The default functionality is that the FFL will not receive an email. There has always been a way to send a copy of the confirmation email. The benefit of this email, instead, is that it does not need to include the price that you sold it for.

To create this email, you will need to create an email (Contacts > Email > Emails) with the code "RETAIL_STORE_ORDER_CONFIRMATION_FOR_FFL"

new feature Restrict Shipping Charge to Postal Codes

You can now restrict your shipping charges by postal codes.

To do this, you will still select "United States" and then the corresponding postal code(s) that this shipping charge will be for.

In the following example, these are all Colorado postal codes. If I were to add another line that said "United States" and then had "Colorado" selected for the state with NO postal codes on that line, this shipping charge would still apply to all of Colorado as this would override the specified postal codes:

New Shipping Dialogue new feature

There is now a gear icon to the right of the "Create Shipment" button where all of the options for creating shipments have been condensed into a single dialogue box. You can choose to automatically open this dialogue whenever you are creating a shipment if you would like to.

new feature Contact Identifiers can now include an image of the ID

With this, you can make it easier to users to upload their military IDs, Driver's License, etc. directly via their My Account pages. Need to check their ID for validity? Simply go to the contact record (Contacts > Contacts), go to the details tab, and scroll to the bottom where you can see all of the custom contact identifiers.

These images are not being sent to coreSTORE via our contact identifier integration at this point in time.

But really, you can upload any image (or gif if you feel inclined). That part isn't a joke 😉.

Gunbroker Product Listing now has a button to show past Gunbroker orders for that product NEW FEATURE

This was requested by several Gunbroker users. This should help you see at a glance some of your more popular Gunbroker sellers and also help you manage what products are going where.

Product that are tagged as "Make Offer" can now have an auto accept and auto reject price improvement

First, you will need to create the product tag if you have not already. There is a preset value for this, to make things easier:

Curio & Relic (C&R) License is now supported new feature

Extra Information - https://www.atf.gov/firearms/curios-relics

Quick Summary

Having this license will mean that the customer can have C&R products shipped directly to their house instead of to an FFL.

Setting it Up

1) In order to properly categorize and list these products, you will want to create a product category to place these items in. It may be good to add a detailed description to the product category so that customers will know that there are restrictions on these items.

2) You will also need to create a Custom Field for the license expiration date for customers with this license and create a contact category for these customers (contacts > settings > categories). You will need to add the date to the customer's contact record after verifying their license and tag the customer with the contact category.

3) Finally, and perhaps most importantly, you will need to create a product tag with the code "CR_REQUIRED." This product tag works exactly like FFL_REQUIRED. Typically, C&R products would have both of these product tags.

Detailed Overview and Summary

In order for a user to purchase C&R product without needing to send them to an FFL dealer, they need to have a valid C&R License on file. The dealer indicates this by putting the user into a Contact Category with code "CR_LICENSE_ON_FILE" AND setting a Contact Custom field with code CR_LICENSE_ON_FILE_EXPIRATION_DATE to a date in the future. If NO date is set, or the date is prior to today or the user does not have the contact category on their contact, they will have to choose an FFL.

If they meet ALL those conditions, it means they have a valid C&R License on file and if their cart ONLY has C&R products, NO class 3 or FFL required products, they have have the order shipped to their house

Product Category

You will likely want to add this product category to the "Firearms" department.

Custom Field

Contact Category

Setting the Data for the Contact

You will set the expiration date custom field in the contact record under the "Custom" tab.

If you're still reading this, I would say that makes you a detailed individual and we want YOUR detailed feedback!

Did you know that coreFORCE has its own forum for Feature Requests at help.coreware.com? Simply follow this link to let us know about any improvements to the system that would make this platform even better!

We will generally give more weight to feature requests that have a lot of interaction and interest from other dealers, so if you see something you agree with, make sure you are "liking" it and adding a comment about how that feature request would help you operate your business more effectively.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MENUS?????

Yes I am shouting because that might be what you are doing, but PLEASE do not panic, all the menus are still there.  As you may have seen there is a nice tour that shows you how to navigate around.   Not much has changed but it was time to put things in a more logical order and quite frankly the accordion-style menus were a bit of a  pain, It was time to rip that band-aid off!

Store Config is No Longer Store Config!

Take a deep breath - it's now called SETTINGS.  And yes it's more streamlined and looks FANTASTIC.  At least we think it does but I'm pretty sure you will too.

You can now search for work orders based on the serial number.  This is convenient if you have a repair item that you are not sure which work order it belongs to (work order tag fell off).

Purchasing & Receiving

Discounts
You can now enter a discount on purchase orders and/or receiving transactions.  Discount all line items by a % or discount the entire transaction by a whole amount.

Sales Screen

improvement Search the suspended sale screen using custom field values.

new feature Hide tags from the grid of buttons just like you can hide categories from the button grid on the sales screen.

improvement A customer's middle name can now be used when searching for customers.

new feature A category can be flagged to require a waiver If you are using coreFORCE or Smart Waiver. If the customer doesn't have a waiver on file or they have an expired waiver the item belonging to that category cannot be sold when this box is checked (checkbox is in the category screen).

new feature If a customer has an FFL we clearly show it.  Green background means the FFL has not expired, Red means it's expired.

new feature LETS PARTY!!!!!!  You can now track multiple contacts, this is useful for a range or gym that wants to track who is in the facility.   To enable party mode make sure you check the Enable Party Support option in the Store Configuration:

Once Set during a sale transaction you will now see a new Party button on the sales screen.

Once you click the Party button to start the party, you can then click the Member button to add new members to the party.

Click the Party button to view the members of the party.

Inventory

improvement coreSTORE has some items that are set up which are called System Items.  This includes Fees and Gift Cards.   Previously these items were hidden and could not be changed.   With this update, the user can now edit system item information.  The user is prevented from deleting the item or changing the product id, but other information can be changed such as the description.

new feature You can now edit cost and price information for an individual serial number in the Item Serial Number screen.  Any information updated will also be reflected in the bound book.

improvement  Location category taxes have been enhanced to support specific tags.  Click the screen below to see a sample setup of fees/taxes.  The first one shows how to assess an extra fee for any ammo that has a tag of 9mm.

Purchasing & Receiving

new feature New purchasing dashboard for better management of purchase orders, receiving, transfers and returns.  The new dashboard provides the user with a front screen to see all open transactions and quickly add a new transaction.  A new help guide will walk users through the new screen and highlight the new features.

new feature Enter your own Purchase Order Number.   By default purchase order numbers are assigned by the system, in this update the user is able to enter their own purchase order numbers.   To enable this option in Store Config check the option Use Purchase Order.  You can optionally require a purchase order number.

new feature When entering a purchase order you can click the On Order quantity field to see which other purchase orders have this item.

new feature During the receiving process you can now optionally display a serial number audit number.  This number is generated by taking the numeric values of all serial numbers on the line item and adding them up (the non-numeric part of the serial number is stripped out).

In the example below, 2 serial numbers are being received.  The first one is translated to 10000 (the A's become 0, leading 0 is dropped) and the second serial number is translated to 20000.  This adds up to 30000.

The benefit of using a serial audit is to provide a mechanism for a second individual to verify that all serial numbers were scanned and no mistakes were made.  It adds a step, but at the same time helps ensure accuracy.

Bound Book & 4473

new feature New 4473 Kiosk.  The new 4473 Kiosk will provide your customers with a more pleasant experience.  Instead of one big form, the new kiosk splits the form into more manageable steps and will stop the user from moving to the next step if they forgot to fill in any information.

important To enable the new 4473 kiosk you must change the configuration option in Store Config (you can also change it in the locations screen and only activate it at certain locations).

new feature Added Spanish support in the new 4473 kiosk.

new feature Extended Search in 4473 Screen.  The new extended search screen allows you to search for 4473's by any combination of fields.

new feature Serial number count can be done for all bound books at once.

new feature Added the ability to select columns and sort by any column on the 4473 screen.

new feature Added a new employee security option to allow setting up a manager user who can override the warning that a 4473 must be completed for the sale.

This new option will prevent an employee from completing a sale that requires a 4473 unless they have the security option to override this option.

If this option is set to false AND the configuration option: Override 4473 Warning During A Sale is false then:

The warning dialog will only have an OK button and the user will not be allowed to complete the sale prior to filling out a 4473.

new feature We added another employee security option to prevent them from downloading 4473's.

new feature 4473 screen Improved menu:

Today's Emphasis: EVENTS 📋 (with a few other goodies 🍭  )

new feature exciting! Event Attendance Status & Pass/Fail

This is a VERY exciting feature as it has been requested for a long time by many of our customers who run classes.

You can get to this page by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Attendee Status. This page gives you several different pieces of functionality in one:

  • You now have the ability to mark different attendance statuses for class registrants. You can make your own Event Attendance Statuses, but examples might be "Did Not Attend," "Did Not Successfully Complete," or "Successfully Completed."
  • Additionally, you can utilize this page as a check-in page where instructors can check in students either as they arrive or as the class is beginning with a single click in the box next to their name.
  • There is also a link to the order record in which they purchased the class online. If it is blank, this may indicate that the order was paid for in coreSTORE or the registrant was manually added by a staff member (perhaps for family or another staff member).
  • Last, this page has a spot where instructors can write down evaluation notes.

You can set up the different Attendance Statuses by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Attendance Statuses

Here, you can create as many or as few statuses as you like.

Attendance Statuses can be tied to certifications... Which brings us to our NEXT new feature!

new feature exciting! Certifications

You can set up your Certification Types by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Certification Types. Certifications can be tied to attendance statuses, or they can also be set manually.

You can also choose whether your certifications expire or not and what classes are required by a user to automatically complete the certification.

You can see a full list of who has what certifications by going to Contacts > Contact Certifications

If you click on a record, you can see the date issued, the expiration date, and any other notes that you may want to add.

Customers will be able to see their certifications and when they expire (if they expire) by going to "My Account".

Users, after obtaining a certificate, will also be able to print certificates of attendance or achievement from their "My Account" page if you give them one.

You can make a particular class require a certification by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Event Types. From here, at the bottom of a selected event type record, you can select which certification(s) are required in order to take a particular class:

PLEASE NOTE: By default, customers will still be able to register for classes that they do not have the certification for. In this case, a warning will pop up to the customer letting them know what certification they will need before they can attend that class. It is important to still allow the customer to register for the class in cases where they are signing up for a series of classes all at once. If a later level class fills up quickly, you don't want them to have to wait several months between taking classes.

If you need to check this prior to the class, you can run an "Uncertified Registrants Report" by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Uncertified Registrants Report.

You can also run a Certification Expiration Report by going to Events & Facilities > Events > Certification Expiration Report.

new feature Form that registers someone for an Event

Creating a form that registers someone for an event assumes that the event will not require payment.

A form could be created to sign someone up for an event, paid or unpaid, but they will be registered without payment. If you have a paid event, the customer will need to pay via coreSTORE at the time of the event. If you go this route, it would be best to have no pre-paid options  available so that, to avoid confusion, every customer who shows up to the event will be unpaid and require payment.

This is useful if you need to have someone fill out a waiver at the time of signing up for the event (Think along the lines of free events such as a 5k run or a firearm assembly class).

If you have need of this functionality, we can assist you in creating this form.

improvement Re-signing up for Old Memberships

We found that if someone re-signed up for an old membership, rather than starting a new membership of the same type, it was advancing their old expiration date.

We made an enhancement so that if someone's old membership has been inactive or expired for a longer period of time, when they sign up for a new membership, it will simply create a new contact subscription record.

improvement Subscription Report Enhancements

To the subscription report, we now added phone number as a column, whether their associated recurring payment record "Requires Attention" (meaning payment failed and needs to be corrected), and the contact ID is now clickable.

new feature Auto-Generated Membership Numbers

Membership numbers in coreFORCE have previously been able to be stored as Contact Identifiers. You now have the ability to create a Contact Identifier that will auto-generate a number. If you choose to auto-generate, then every contact will have a value for this contact identifier. This will not overwrite membership numbers that were already input and admin users can ALWAYS edit these.

improvement Create Events Page

Event Name is Now Auto-filled when the Event Type is selected. This can still be manually edited from this point if needed.

Price Per Person is now Auto-filled when the Event Type is selected IF a default price is set directly in the Event Type Record.

This has an added benefit of auto-checking "Enable Shopping Cart Checkout" which will save you a click if you are making lots of events.

new feature Ability to Combine Classes

If you have multiple classes that all use the same room at the same time, you can put a total amount of attendees on all the classes together. For example, if you can't allow 40 people to take each class because the room only supports 40 people total. This is important if you'd like to allow 1 class to have more registrants than another, especially if one class isn't filling up as much as others.

To utilize this page, Go to Events & Facilities > Events > Combine Events. Using the dropdown, select the events you would like to combine and enter how many total attendees should be allowed for all of these events combined.

We have so much more to share but this ends this week's update.

Tuesday is Update Day!

announcement Good morning everyone!  We are back to our Tuesday update cycle (typically every other Tuesday).   We have an exciting update and I made a couple of video tutorials that hopefully you will find useful.  Please subscribe to our Youtube channel by clicking here and then make sure to click on the Subscribe button.

Sales Screen Interface Update exciting!

It's an updated interface and we think you will love it.  Watch the video to learn more.

Payment Portal new feature

Most of our customers now use the coreCLEAR gateway.  I bet many of you didn't know we have a payment portal that allows your customers to make payments online for:

  • Layaways
  • Special Orders
  • Layaways

Your customers can also view all their order history online.

We have added another cool feature.  We now print a payment link directly on the receipt, along with a QR code, that your customers can easily scan to make an online payment!

Time Clock Restriction improvement

You can now enter multiple IP Addresses when restricting the IP address.  Restricting the IP address will help prevent employees from logging in outside of the store.   This restriction can now be limited to only time clock employees.  This option can be found in the Locations screen.

Print Labels Directly from Receiving Screen new feature

You can now print pricing labels directly from the receiving screen, as you enter items.

Sales Order Processing new feature

If you have sales orders that involve multiple items and you fulfill these orders as inventory arrives, we have made it easier to track all of that.  Watch this video to learn more about it.

Price Rules for Multiple Locations improvement

Easily specify whether a price rule applies to a single or multiple locations, no need to setup separate price rules for each location.

Loyalty Points improvement

When selecting a customer the system will immediately show a dialog box alerting the user that this customer has loyalty points available.

Default Font Color & Button Color for the Button Grid new feature

If you use the button on the sales screen, you may already know that you can change the background color for each category, but we have now added the option to have a default color, so you don't have to setup each category.  We also added a default font color for the text on the buttons.

Employee Import new feature

Added an option to import employees from a spreadsheet.

Serial Number Enhancement improvement

Serial Number Tab Now Shows the Corresponding Sale Id.   You can also click on the sale id to view the receipt.

Not All Ideas are Good Ideas fix

We thought combining the Add/Remove Cash into one menu option was a good one, but apparently we were wrong and we don't mind admitting when we are wrong.  So...it's back. The two menu options are no longer one!

Bound Book & 4473 Changes improvement

Show Warning When trying to Complete a Sale that Has No 4473

You will now see a warning if a 4473 has not been completed. If you are not using the coreSTORE 4473 functionality you can hide this message by checking the Store Config option -

Expired FFL's
Expired FFL's can now be entered.  The system will simply warn the user that the FFL has expired.

Send SMS from 4473 Screen

You can send a text (sms) message to your customer directly from the 4473 management screen.

4473 Change Management Support

  • Any section that has been completed and then edited later will create a new "version" of that 4473.
  • The version is indicated by the PDF button's label ("PDFv2", "PDFv3", etc.)
  • When you click the PDF button, you will get a "merged" PDF, with the versions stacked on top of each other (v1 on top, the latest version at the bottom).
  • The merged PDF will show its version number in the upper-right corner of the 4473 as "Version #__" in red, and every change that was made to that version compared with the previous version will be dated and initialed in red over the area changed.
  • If a version is responsible for generating a 3310, that 3310 will be in the stack of merged PDFs, directly behind the 4473 version responsible.

Updated 4473 Form

  • The latest Form 4473 from the ATF (May 2020) is now in use.    -
  • The field area for Question 10 (Address/City/State/Zip/County) has had its font size reduced and field area enlarged to help prevent cutoff of long addresses. (Note that this line does not wrap, as space has also been made for a second address that will show under the first one once support for a second address -- used by a member of the Armed Forces on active duty where the duty station is different from their state of residence -- has been added to Section B).
  • The field area for Question 11 (Place of Birth) has also had its font size reduced and field area enlarged, and it was also set to wrap to help prevent cutoff of long birth country names (like "PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA" or "FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA")
  • Automatic Upload: If the 4473 is in a "complete" state (e.g. Section E is signed) when a Section is submitted, the 4473 is automatically uploaded to our offsite backup in an unchangeable state, and is made available for download and sync via the coreFFL Sync application.

Where is the chat support button? 😨
