First and foremost, if you didn't read What's New from Tuesday November 17th, please make sure to scroll down and read that too. We have a couple of important fixes and enhancements that we wanted to roll out quickly.
new feature Change Items in Bulk
You can now mark a selected group of items as ECommerce or mark them off ECommerce and also you can assign a selected group of items to a different category.
new feature Search for Customer by their Id
Search for a customer by entering or scanning the person id which is the unique id assigned by coreSTORE. This is great for membership cards which can now be printed directly from coreSTORE (see our Tuesday update to learn more).
new featureReceive a Range of Serial Numbers
When receiving a serialized item you can now specify a range of serial numbers to receive. The range needs to be specified with the starting serial number and final serial number. In the example below the range would be entered as followed:
KS10800-KS10804
Corestore will look at the last digits of the serial number to determine what the serial numbers should be. Use this feature with caution. Make sure you TRULY have a range of serial numbers to receive and none were skipped.
new feature Added Report Option to All Reports
Added new predefined date ranges to all reports:
Last 60 and Last 90 days.
new feature coreFORCE Out of Stock Price
Added a new configuration option under ECommerce section to transmit the list price as the out of stock price for an item. This will add a new price level in the pricing tab with None as the location, which will always ensure that there is a price showing for an item.
fix Consignment Cost Calculation
The cost of a consignment item will properly calculate based on the following:
Selling Price * Consignment Cost % - Consignment Fee
In the example above if the item sells for $500, the cost would be calculated as:
$500 * 82% - $10
So that would be $400. The $10 consignment fee will deduct from the total item cost since this is a fee you are charging the consignor.
