Did you notice anything new?

I usually post our announcement at the same time we release the update, but this time we are 2 days behind on the announcement so some of you may have already seen a few of the exciting changes and enhancements.

Lets start out with this awesome photo.  I've been obsessing over finding the best hardware solutions for coreSTORE, both aesthetically and technically. At this point our local delivery drivers are tired of coming to the house which has been a daily occurrence bringing me tablets, wires, hubs, mounts, stands, printers, scanners and more.  The result is going to be an incredible selection of hardware that will elevate your experience with coreSTORE.


Work Orders

This update for work orders relates primarily to our FFL customers and it's exciting!  Our goal with all of our product offering is to help save you time, reduce errors and improve your productivity.  

new feature We have made it easier to track firearms being repaired that need to be sent out to a supplier/manufacturer.  The key is to setup at least two statuses in the Work Order status.  

The first status you should setup is to track items that are being sent out.  Make sure to check the box: Send to Supplier.

 

When you change the status of a work order to this status,  you will see a drop down box to select the supplier (or add a new one by clicking the button).  Once you select the supplier and hit Save, if the item under repair is a firearm the system will dispose the firearm for you to the supplier that you selected.


The second status you should setup is a status to track when the item is returned from the supplier.   When you change a work order to this status it will acquire the firearm back from the supplier and create the new acquisition record in the bound book.


You can also send out multiple items for repair to the same supplier in once step.


new feature In store config you can now enter a Work Order Policy.  This policy will be printed on the work order.

new feature If you are using coreCLEAR, you can now setup a register that allows you to enter credit cards manually.  This is very beneficial if you take orders over the phone and need to securely process a credit card transaction without having to enter the transaction separately on the gateway.  If you are interested in setting up a register for entering manual transactions simply submit a support ticket and we will get you setup.

fix Fixed the ability to store a credit card on file when using a USB based terminal.


Sale Screen - Collapse/Expand Detail

On the sales screen you can now collapse the item detail, this is beneficial when using a smaller screen especially a tablet.  There is also a new configuration option that lets you collapse the line item detail by default.

Tips

You may not know this but coreSTORE supports tips and we have now added the tip screen to the customer facing display.  

To setup your system to accept tips go to the Store Config search for the word Tips and you can enable tips in the system.
